I agree with you that Nintendo games do seem to get bushed aside by the "too mature for colours" crowd, but remember when Mario Galaxy? It got a lot of GOTY recognition..
I'll comment, lol. Game looks boring as church and it's going to get the pants spanked clean off it by Sonic Transformed this winter.
Gotta go fast, suckas!
I was just about to joke that Eurogamer would give this a six amid a parade of eights and nines. Oh well, all aboard the Game of the Year train!
Great score, can't wait to play it!
Na I'd say it's extremely likely, based on how the first Sega Racing was awesome, while the LBP games were steaming turds, and Who are ya? Who are ya?-Nation Racers probably was too.
Freebies from Turn 10 to celebrate?
This is to stop people slicing their wrists when they discover there's no achievements system
Bold, refreshing move from Nintendo. Screw virtual collectables!
Play both
Shame ... must grab a copy of each.
That's because you haven't a goddamn clue what games have come out on Wii over the past six years. You ignored completely one third of this generation's console gaming and you have the cheek to call yourself a 'hardcore' fan of gaming?
Such nonsense.
USA! USA! USA!
I also played it for the first time through Anniversary and really enjoyed it.
It struck me that even a decade ago games were considerably more challenging due to various design standards that have changed.
Just wish all 20 million had played Child of Eden and Steel Battalion!
I actually think this is a neat tie in - better than that rally racer or whatever, lol.
Still, so many Sega characters they could have had..
That's a cool length.
I'll probably play it on regular difficulty so it'll maybe be a little less, but I'm no pro and I won't rush. Hopefully it's all action and no boring crap.
It didn't force you to get better so much as it made you want to get better, to master the game's particular move set or weapons so as to become a near-invincible god.
Longer games often used passwords, which is obviously less convenient than being able to save.
Gives you the freedom to poop out any old rubbish I guess.
Pretty insulting choice when you consider masterpieces like Halo 4, Dishonoured, Mass Effect 3, Binary Domain and New Super Mario Bros U came out over the past year, but then Amazon is hardly a bastion of credible gaming opinion.
